Join two expert panelists for a virtual discussion focusing on all things artificial intelligence. We'll talk about how AI is reshaping the landscape of science writing, from tools that can help writers in their daily work to the broader ethical dilemmas facing journalism as generative AI feeds copyright infringement and misinformation.
Corey Hutchins is a visiting Instructor in Journalism at Colorado College. He is a contributor to the Columbia Journalism Review and has been tracking how Colorado newsrooms are using AI.
Sree Sreenivasan is cofounder of Digimentors, a social, digital, and virtual events consulting company. He is a former Chief Digital Officer of notable institutions such as New York City and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and he draws up his expertise garnered from his years of digital strategy and journalism education.
The panel will be moderated by Kenna Hughes-Castleberry, SWARM's programming chair and the science communicator at the JILA physics research institute at the University of Colorado Boulder.
